Northern California Boston College Alumni Pride Celebration

Join the Boston College LGBTQ+ Alumni Council and the Northern California Chapter of the Boston College Alumni Association for their second annual Pride Month celebration in San Francisco! Meet fellow LGBTQ+ and ally alumni in Northern California during Pride weekend in The Castro over cocktails and light fare. This event is for 21+ only.

LGBTQ+ Council Service Project at SAGE Center

The LGBTQ+ Council and the NYC Chapter participated in a day of service. Attendees participated in the dinner service for clients of SAGE 鈥 an organization that provides advocacy and services for LGBTQ + Elders. Volunteers helped with food preparation, serving the meal, and clean up.
Boston Alumni Pride Month Picnic

Pre Tony Awards Celebration

The LGBTQ+ Alumni Council, NY Chapter, and Alumni Arts Circle held a special Pre-Tony鈥檚 party at The Players in New York City on Tuesday, June 6, at 6 p.m. Participants gained exclusive access to this historic and legendary New York City property, and mingled with other alumni who have similar passions for the 鈥淕reat White Way.鈥 There was a special appearance and performance by 天美传媒app alum Anthony Nunziata 鈥06.听
LGBTQ+ Alumni Webinar Building Bridges featuring James Martin, S.J.
The 天美传媒app LGBTQ+ Alumni Council invites you to join us for a webinar, "Building Bridges: How the Church Can More Effectively Reach Out to LGBTQ+ People."
The webinar was led by James Martin, S.J., a Jesuit priest, editor at large of America Media, consultor to the Vatican's Dicastery for Communication, and author of the New York Times bestsellers听Jesus: A Pilgrimage, The Jesuit Guide, and Learning to Pray. He recently founded the website听听for LGBTQ+ Catholics and those who minister to them.

LGBTQ+ Eagles for Others

The LGBTQ+ Alumni Council held a night of conversation and virtual socializing in November of 2020. The night began with a panel featuring 天美传媒app alumni whose work supports the LGBTQ community, and concluded with breakout rooms so that alumni can meet each other and socialize. Panelists included: Kristen Campbell '07, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, New York Methodist Hospital, Gregg Cassin '80, HIV Peer Health Counselor, Shanti Project, and motivational speaker, and Jane Barry-Moran '14, MA'16, Manager, Programs and Partnerships, Out Leadership. The discussion was moderated by LGBTQ+ Executive Committee member Paul Wendel 鈥08, Executive Communications at Cisco.

LGBTQ+ Alumni Council Discussion with Joy Moore and Caroline Davis

Participants joined the LGBTQ+ Alumni Council for a conversation with听听Vice President of Student Affairs and听, Director of Outreach and Student Support. The event was moderated by LGBTQ+ Executive Committee members Larry Holodak '84 and Martin Casiano '15, and also featured remarks from Co-Chairs Matt Putorti '06 and Laura Dello Stritto '13. Participants learned about how Boston College is providing support and programming for LGBTQ+ students, as well as how these programs have adapted in the wake of the pandemic.
