Andrew joined the department in 2023 after having taught at Bryn Mawr College as a Visiting Assistant Professor. He teaches and writes primarily about ancient Greek philosophy, with a focus on ethics and moral psychology. His current research project examines the nature and value of hope in the works of Plato and Aristotle.
